How to do a Candida Cleanse

candidaWhat is a Candida Cleanse?

A candida cleanse rids your body of an overgrowth of the fungus Candida albicans. This fungus is one of the many funguses found in the human body naturally, but when it starts to take over your overall health will decline.

Who Needs a Candida Cleanse?

Women who suffer from chronic yeast infection are in desperate need for a candida cleanse. People with chronic fungus, rashes, and bladder infections, as well as people who have overused antibiotics will all benefit from a candida cleanse. Most people have an overgrowth of yeast, or candida. This is caused primarily by the overuse of antibiotics, steroids, sugars, and alcohols. Antibiotics get rid of bacteria, but in the process they also strip your body of good bacteria. New research suggests the use of a full spectrum antibiotic (big guns) will completely deplete your good bacteria. This can lead to yeast infections, acne, bloating, weight gain, illness, and a plethora of health conditions.

What are the Symptoms of a Candida Overgrowth?

Chronic yeast infections, bladder infections, fungal infections, and rashes are the main symptoms of a candida overgrowth. People who experience thrush are also due for a candida cleanse. Persistent fatigue, congestion, headaches, constipation, diarrhea, rectal itching, canker sores, colitis, abdominal pain, poor memory and concentration, chronic skin rashes, genital and toenail fungus, and allergies are among the many symptoms of a candida overgrowth.

What are the Root Causes of a Candida Overgrowth?

Prolonged and frequent use of antibiotics or corticosteroids, a high sugar diet, allergies, stress, hormonal changes, birth control pills poor digestion and elimination, as well as a depressed immune system are the root causes of a candida overgrowth.

Natural Remedies.

The First Step to a Candida Cleanse is to take probiotics. Probiotics are good strains of bacteria that help repopulate your good bacteria.

Probiotic- Take a probiotic with at least 4 billions active organisms. Take twice a day thirty minutes after a meal. this will help to restore friendly bacteria which will in-turn fight fungus.
The Second Factor is Diet. While doing a Candida Cleanse (at least six weeks) your diet should consist of organic vegetables, organic meats, nuts, etc. You need to avoid all sugars, even natural ones, sweet fruits, (yes even fruits), alcohol, white flour, wheat flour, limit the amount of grains you eat as well. The best thing to do is juice a lot. Buy a good juicer and juice organic vegetables.
The Third Element is a Product called “Candex.” For many years, the mainstays in candida treatment have been anti-fungal drugs and herbs. These drugs may cause liver damage and both the drugs and herbs cause yeasts to release even more toxins, which cause "die off reactions" that many people cannot tolerate. Yeasts can also become resistant to both drugs and herbs so that they lose their effect. Since candida's cell wall is made mostly of fiber, fiber-digesting enzymes can break it down. When this occurs, the yeast dies.

Candex-Take two capsules, at least one hour before breakfast, and two at bedtime, at least two hours after eating, until desired results are achieved.
After 6 Weeks continue to take 1 Probiotic daily. (forever if you have had a broad spectrum antibiotic, of have used a lot of antibiotics) Take Candex 1 daily before bed. *Please check with your doctor before taking any supplements, and also read the warning labels on each product, especially if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Also read the labels carefully when giving your child any natural supplement, to ensure that it is safe to give a child.

Natural Remedies for High Blood Pressure

high-blood-pressureWhat is High Blood Pressure?

As blood circulates through the body it presses against the walls of the arteries. When the pressure becomes too high this effects the arterial walls, often times distorting them, causing them to narrow or thicken. This places stress, and an extra burden on the heart.

Who Gets High Blood Pressure?

More than 50 million Americans suffer from high blood pressure, also known as Hypertension. High blood pressure effects many people from differing ages, and races. But, is particularly common among the elderly, African Americans, and people of all races in the Southeastern United states. Heredity also plays a major role in your risk factors of having high blood pressure yourself.

What are the Symptoms of High Blood Pressure?

Certain factors such as emotional stress, and exercise can cause your blood pressure to go up temporarily. Some symptoms of high blood pressure are; dizziness, unexplained headaches, nosebleeds, and sweating. Other symptoms include visual disturbances, shortness of breath, ringing in the ears, and flushed cheeks.

What are the Ranges?

The first number that your doctor will give you when you are tested for high blood pressure is called systolic pressure. This number is what is measured when the heart beats, and indicates the highest amount of pressure put on the arterial walls. In between heartbeats, the heart is at rest, so the pressure will drop to it’s lowest level. The term given for this is diastolic pressure. The first numbers given in the ranges below are the systolic pressure, and the second numbers are the diastolic pressure.
  • Normal: 110-130/70-85
  • High Normal: 130-139/85-89
  • Mild Hypertension: 140-159/90-99
  • Moderate Hypertension: 160-179/100-109
  • Severe Hypertension: 108 or higher/110 or higher

What are the Root Causes of High Blood Pressure

8 Tips Before Starting A Detox Plan

No one doubts the benefits of detox and as a result the need to have a detox annually. Before you start the detox process you have to learn what will exactly happen and what if any possible side effects there might be.

Some side effects are probable, depending on how many toxins your body has. Many people are experiencing constipation and skin problems, frequent headaches, weight gain amongst a whole host of health problems.  Some of these problems are due to constipation and skin problems, a diet of high in saturated fats and a stressful lifestyle. These factors contribute to a toxin accumulation in the body. A detox program could be beneficial.

But before starting a serious detox program, some general tips must be considered.

Detox Tip 1. To start, choose a cleansing technique that is not too extreme or drastic for your condition.

Detox Tip 2. On the other hand, make sure the technique you choose is not too mild, because it would be ineffective.  You can   start with a gentle cleansing technique but build up the program gradually.

Detox Tip 3. If you are a woman, never  detoxify when you are having your period or when you are pregnant.

Detox Tip 4. Always plan enough time for the cleansing process to occur.  For example, a bowel cleanse may require about 4 hours for purging to take place.

Detox Tip 5.  Do not rush into a cleansing program.  As in the above example, take it slowly during the 4 hours.  Only easy tasks, nothing heavy. Stay near a toilet.

Detox Tip 6. Before you start cleansing, go carefully through all instructions and check if you have all the foods you need for your detox plan.  It is better if you don't have to rush out to the grocery store in the middle of your cleanse.

Detox Tip 7. If you can, work with a trained health practitioner, giving him or her complete details of the health problems you are facing.

Detox Tip 8. It is important to decide with your health practitioner which part of the body you should cleanse and in what order.  Cleansing of the different parts of the body can include colon, liver, kidney, lung and skin cleansing.  The right order will give a more complete and effective detoxification for your body.
